SAFETY: The safety of our Cherrelyn students is always a priority.  Please remember that dogs are not allowed on school property during the school day when students are present.

Also when dropping off your child/student please pull up curbside to the school. Crossing in the middle of the street and between cars is very dangerous. If you are parked on the opposite side of the street show your child/student where to properly cross on the corner crosswalk. Good safety practices help eliminate accidents!

VISITORS:  Please check in at the office any time you visit.  You will be given a visitors badge to wear.  Anyone in the building that is not wearing a visitor badge will be asked to return to the office to check in.

MORNING SUPERVISION: A reminder that morning supervision does not begin until 7:30.  Students should not arrive before 7:30.

END OF DAY MESSAGES:  Please have end of day messages to the office by 2:30 so that we may ensure delivery of the message to your child.  We would appreciate that end of day plans are made in advance.  However, we do understand that circumstances do arise making a change necessary.

CONTACT INFORMATION: Please contact the office in the event of any address or phone number changes as soon as they occur.   You may also want to confirm who is listed on your child’s pick up list.

ATTENDANCE LINE:  The attendance line is available 24/7.  Please call and leave a message if your child is going to be absent.

The number for the attendance line is: 303-806-2459.

PARKING LOT:  The parking lot is closed during school hours.

An “inside day” is called when:

       - it is raining or snowing significantly.

       - it is 20 degrees or below (the wind chill factor is considered).

All students are expected to dress properly and go outside for recess if the above two conditions do not exist.

OFFICE HOURS:  School Office hours are 7:30 – 3:30.  These hours may vary on early release Fridays or days without students, including staff development, teacher workdays, etc.

 Thank you!
