ECE Summer camp offers continued development of core social-emotional and higher-order thinking skills in a high-quality, play-based environment. Students can sign up for one or both sessions and will explore different science and social studies topics each week. They will garden daily and enjoy water play in addition to typical preschool activities.

PURPOSE:
To support learning and exploration for the upcoming school year. K-5 students are invited to engage in academic and socio-emotional growth, peer connection, interest exploration, and self-identity development during summer programming. Through teamwork, we will engage in challenges, fun, and learning to grow our brains and hearts. Englewood Schools is committed to supporting all students, including those who are unhoused, Multilingual Learners, and others needing extra resources, ensuring they thrive and continue learning over the summer.

The Englewood CLDE Summer School program is designed to support learning and exploration while preparing students for the upcoming school year. Open to ML students in grades K-5, this program helps students grow academically and socio-emotionally, explore new interests, connect with peers, and build a healthy sense of identity. Through teamwork, students will engage in challenges, fun activities, and meaningful learning experiences to grow both their brains and hearts.
Englewood Schools is committed to supporting all students, including those who are unhoused, Multilingual Learners, and others who may benefit from additional resources. This summer program is one of the many ways we provide intentional support to help ML students thrive and continue learning over the summer.

Englewood Schools offers a one-week summer enrichment program designed specifically for gifted learners in grades 2-5. This camp-like experience provides advanced students with opportunities to collaborate, explore, and challenge themselves through hands-on, inquiry-based learning. Instruction is tailored to meet both the academic and affective needs of gifted students, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and social-emotional growth. Through engaging projects and problem-solving activities, students will develop perseverance, self-advocacy, and a love for learning in a supportive and stimulating environment.

Career Pathway Summer Program
Career Pathway Summer Program
The Career Pathway Summer Program is for students currently in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade (in the 2025-26 school year) to explore the robust Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs offered at Englewood High School and Colorado's Finest High School of Choice. The program will offer students a hands-on introduction to various STEAM fields and CTE programs.
The Career Pathway Summer Program will be designed to:
* expose students to a variety of CTE pathways and courses offered at our high schools
* help students explore and develop interests
* develop foundational skills that students can continue to build in high school
* help students make connections between future interests and academic choices and achievement
* build awareness of postsecondary options
WHO: 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students (in the 2025-2026 school year)

The Career Pathway Summer Program will offer students a hands-on introduction to various fields and CTE programs including broadcasting and video production, cosmetology, culinary arts, business, engineering, and sustainable agriculture and green energy.
Application deadline is May 15, 2026.

Breakthrough is an intensive six-week daily summer program that provides rigorous instruction in math, language arts, and science. There is a strong focus on leadership, team building, financial literacy, mental health, and the arts.

WHO: Girls entering the 8th, 9th, or 10th grade (in the 2025-2025 school year) who are interested in pursuing future careers in the STEM fields
WHEN:

WHERE: CSU Spur Campus, Hydro Building 4777 National Western Drive, Denver, CO 80216.
COST: Free
This free one-week camp is designed for girls in 7th, 8th, and 9th grade (in the 2025-2026 school year) to spark their interest in STEM careers. Participants take part in a variety of educational coding games and activities led by experienced female software developers. Camp Code introduces participants to a variety of women in technology and explores the diverse opportunities available to women who code.

Summer Science Institute
Middle school students (incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in the 2026-27 school year) have the opportunity to explore fun applications of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in an exciting, hands-on, team-oriented atmosphere on the Auraria Campus. Metropolitan State University of Denver faculty will teach classes and prepare students in STEM concepts. This is a two-week, half-day program.
Session Dates: June 2026
Location: Auraria Campus Science Building, Metropolitan State University of Denver

High School Credit Recovery and Acceleration
WHO: High school students who want to catch up on credits or get ahead with graduation requirements.
WHEN: Monday, June 1st - Friday, June 17th, 2026 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
WHERE: Online or at Englewood High School (3800 S. Logan St. Englewood, CO 80113)
COST: $50 per credit recovery course. Free for all credit acceleration courses.
TRANSPORTATION: Families are responsible for providing transportation to and from the program. District-provided transportation is not available this summer.
This program will be delivered in-person only. Successful completion of the summer program will allow students the opportunity to receive credit for a class - either recovering credit from a previously failed class or taking a class for the first time. Students will take one course at a time. If they complete a course by June 8, they will have the opportunity to take another core class. All coursework must be completed by 1:00 p.m. on June 17 to receive credit.

WHO: Junior EHS and CFHSC students are invited to register for a campus tour and overnight experience at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction.
WHEN: June 1-2, 2026
LOCATION: Colorado Mesa University
COST: FREE
MEALS: Included all days
AVAILABLE SPOTS: approximately 20-25 students
TRANSPORTATION: Charter bus transportation provided to and from Colorado Mesa University. The charter bus will pick up and drop off students at Union Station in downtown Denver. Students/families are responsible for transporting themselves to Union Station.

College Application Camp
Common Application Camp
EHS and CFHSC seniors will do a deep dive into every aspect of the Common Application. The Common Application (Common App) is an application that is accepted by more than 800 colleges and universities in the United States and several international schools. With one application, one main essay, and possible supplemental essays, seniors can apply to multiple schools. Topics in this workshop include: creating a Common App account, reviewing all sections of the Common App, how to write your college essay, how to showcase your talents, skills, and achievements, how to request a letter of recommendation, and how to manage application timelines.

Dates: August 4-6, 2026 (tentative)

Colorado Health Careers Academy
Explore the fastest growing health occupations in Colorado: Nursing, Medical Assistant, Medical Lab Technician, Patient Care Technician, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy, Physical Therapy Assistant, Radiology Technologist, Sonography Technician, Sterile Processing Technician, and Surgical Technical. Learn about postsecondary certification pathways and career navigation. Get hands-on and virtual job shadow experience. Earn entry-level credentials in Basic Life Support, CPR, and HIPPA.
