Nutrition Services

Welcome to Nutrition Services!

Dear Parents,

We know you have a lot on your mind. The last thing we want is for you to worry about is how to provide your student a school lunch or their safety while in the lunchroom. Here are a few reasons we invite you to be “stress-free” when it comes to lunch.

Breakfast at school: Breakfast at all levels is at no charge to all students as part of the National School Breakfast Program. This program ensures that students will be offered a well-rounded meal, which includes a grain, fruit, and milk as part of their daily breakfast and fuel to succeed in the classroom.

Lunch at school: If you have experienced a job loss or loss of income, we have you covered! Call 303-806-7907 for assistance in completing the Free & Reduced Price Lunch application. We are on your team, and we will make sure your student receives a great lunch every day. We don’t want our families concerned about providing lunch for their children. We have your back.

Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP): FFVP is a federally assisted program providing free fresh fruits and vegetables to children at elementary schools during the school day. The goal of this program is to introduce children to new fresh fruits and vegetables, and to increase overall acceptance, variety and consumption of fresh produce among children. The FFVP also encourages healthier school environments by promoting nutrition education.

A safe lunchroom experience: The health and safety of our students is a top priority. We have a lot to highlight when it comes to our work to maintain high sanitation levels. Our team has received all of the training needed to ensure that surfaces and common areas remain clean. We are conducting health screenings every day, wearing masks and gloves, and routinely cleaning surfaces with a germicide, proven to kill the COVID-19 virus.

Keeping lunch fun! While keeping lunchtime safe and delicious, we know it is revered by our students as a time to unwind, relax and talk to their friends. We want kids to be able to return to this sense of normalcy while keeping them safe. Our team is going above and beyond to make sure kids can still love lunchtime, while having fun and remaining safe.
