Englewood Schools offers robust Arts education at all schools. Arts education is an important component of STEAM in Englewood Schools because it helps students connect what they learn in science, technology, engineering, and math subjects.
The inclusion of the Arts in STEAM education is more important than ever because creativity, product design, communication skills, and an emotional appeal are highly sought by employers. People who have both technical and creative skills are in high demand in many career fields.
Is the Arts Pathway Right for Me?
Offered at Englewood High School and Colorado’s Finest High School of Choice, the Arts pathway is a strong fit for students who have a passion and talent for visual arts, performing arts, and/or instrumental music. Arts pathway students will hone their creative talent while building a professional portfolio for their post-high school endeavors. The Englewood Schools STEAM pathways provide students with rigorous coursework and build technical skills through hands-on applied learning in a career interest area. Participation in a sequence of courses within a pathway prepares students for college and careers.
