Online Learning

Englewood Schools offers a variety of online learning courses that help high school students with credit acceleration or credit recovery. These classes are offered as part of a traditional, in-person high school schedule. Please note that Englewood Schools does not offer a fully remote, online learning option.

Credit acceleration allows students to take online courses that do not fit into their high school schedule or are not offered at their high school. These courses are offered through the online learning platform Edgenuity. The workload for online courses is demanding and requires diligence and commitment from the student. Students are supervised by staff members at their high school to help support their online learning experience.

Credit recovery allows students who failed high school courses to recover the credits required for graduation. These courses are offered via the online learning platform Edgenuity and are available during the regular school year and during designated summer programs.
