Englewood Schools is committed to providing multiple pathways for students to complete their high school education. We are pleased to offer two programs to help students earn their GED.
Available Programs
PASS GED Program
Englewood High School and Colorado's Finest High School of Choice students can enroll in the PASS GED program to receive academic support to pass the four GED exams.
Program Information
- PASS is located at Englewood High School. 3800 S. Logan St., Englewood, CO 80110
- PASS is a collaborative partnership with Englewood Schools and Zero Dropouts.
- The program is designed to re-engage students ages 17 to 20 who have either left high school or are on the verge of dropping out and want to pursue a GED.
- Students attend classes as part of the current high school schedule or may have a full-time class schedule consisting entirely of GED preparation courses.
- An individual learning plan will support students in preparing to pass the GED and connect them to Concurrent Enrollment opportunities at Arapahoe Community College and Career and Technical Education pathways.
- PASS operates during the regular school year and matches the Englewood Schools calendar.
- This program is funded through the Colorado Department of Education's Expelled and At-Risk Student Services grant.

NEXT GED Program

If you are under 21 and have dropped out or are considering dropping out, you still have options! Don’t let being behind in high school credits stop you from thinking about what is NEXT for you!
The NEXT GED program offers individual learning plans that allow students to progress at their own pace, with access to one-on-one instruction to ensure they succeed.
Within this supportive, consistent environment, students will have the opportunity to:
- Prepare for GED testing
- Take the GED tests for FREE
- Take college courses at Arapahoe Community College for FREE
- Participate in certificate programs, including Career and Technical Education programs.
- Explore their future through internships, apprenticeships, and other pathways
- Receive career and college guidance
- Receive social-emotional supports
Program Information
- NEXT is a collaborative partnership with Englewood Schools, Littleton Public Schools, Jefferson County Schools, and Zero Dropouts.
- NEXT is designed to re-engage students ages 17 to 20 who have either left high school or are on the verge of dropping out and want to pursue a GED.
- An individual learning plan will support students in preparing to pass the GED and connect them to Concurrent Enrollment opportunities at Arapahoe Community College and Career and Technical Education pathways.
- Pre-approved students may have the opportunity to use a blended-learning model that combines remote and in-person GED instruction. Blended learning course descriptions can be found HERE.
- Students attend either a morning (8:30-1:00) or afternoon (11:00 - 3:30) session Monday-Thursday.
- NEXT operates from early August through the end of June.

- Enrollment in this program is limited. Interested students may be added to a waitlist.
