Menu of College and Career Readiness Demonstrations

Beginning with the graduating class of 2022, Englewood students are required to complete credit requirements and demonstrate college and career readiness in Reading, Writing, & Communication and Mathematics by achieving a minimum score in at least one of the competency demonstrations. The menu of options for demonstrating competency is below.  Students are only required to meet one demonstration in Reading, Writing, & Communication and one demonstration in Mathematics, and those demonstrations can be met using different menu options.

Accuplacer (Classic)

Score of at least 62 on Reading Comprehension OR
70 on Sentence Skills

Score of at least 61 on Elementary Algebra

Accuplacer (Next Generation)

Score of at least 241 on Reading OR
236 on Writing

Score of at last 255 on Arithmetic OR
230 on Quantitative Reasoning OR
230 on Advanced Algebra & Functions

ACT

Score of at least 18 on ACT English

Score of at least 19 on ACT Math

ACT WorkKeys - National Career Readiness Certificate

Score of at least 3 on all three tests (Bronze Level)

Approved Course List

Score of at least 2 on an AP exam

Score of at least 2 on an AP exam

Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Score of at least 31 on the AFQT
