TREP

Become a teacher + get first 2 years of a teaching degree free!

It's a great time to become a teacher! Early Childhood Education through 12th grade education is among the most high demand careers in Colorado. Englewood Schools will help you on your path to becoming an educator.

Teacher Recruitment Education and Preparation (TREP) is a program that allows qualified students in an educator career pathway to concurrently enroll in college courses for the two years after their senior year — tuition-free to the student! Tuition for the college classes is paid by Englewood Schools at the community college tuition rate.

How does the TREP program work?

TREP participants remain students in Englewood Schools for up to two years after their senior year while they take educator pathway college courses. Englewood Schools pays their college tuition at the resident community college rate for up to two years! Students receive their high-school diplomas at the end of their TREP term.

How do I become eligible for TREP?

Students must be taking or have taken a minimum of one course on the educator pathway course list to be eligible (example: college English). Please see below to get started with the application process.
