Dear Englewood Schools Families,

Thank you all for your patience and support while we are on Rolling Remote Learning. Below are some reminders and resources to assist families during this time.

If your child has symptoms or a known exposure to COVID-19:

Please continue to communicate with your school’s health assistant by phone or email. We want to make sure that when students come back to school they are healthy and not exposing others.

If you need technical/computer support:

Reach out to tech@engschools.net or call 303-806-6883.

For meals:

Free meals are available to all students at these school sites and mobile locations.

Weekend meal boxes are also available for ordering at school sites. Orders must be placed by Wednesday.

On Friday, October 6, meals will NOT be available due to the professional development day for teachers. Families may pick up extra meals on Thursday or a weekend meal box on Thursday afternoon if ordered on Wednesday.

For childcare:

Bridge childcare is available for families of preschool students whose jobs could be in jeopardy by not having care and who do not have another safe option. Please reach out to leigh_pytlinski@engschools.net if you fit these criteria.

Champions is also offering childcare and remote learning assistance to students in grades K-6 at school sites. Care will be available for $35/day with meals and a snack included. Please contact Amanda Bashford at Champions (abashford@discoverchampions.com or 719-216-6014) to enroll.

Updates on our return to in-person learning:

We continue to monitor Arapahoe County data and will keep families updated on what the trends are showing in regard to our return to school. Updates will be provided each Thursday in our Family & Community Newsletter.

Our goal is to get back to in-person instruction as soon as possible. We all must do our part to contain the spread of COVID-19 in order to get back to a safe learning environment at school. Tri-County Health informed us that many of the people who have tested positive for COVID-19 recently attended personal social gatherings, which raises concerns that this is where COVID-19 spread is occurring. Tri-County recommends that everyone immediately limit the number of activities they participate in with people outside of their household to help stop the spread. As a reminder, an order from Governor Polis on October 27 limits personal gatherings to no more than 10 individuals coming from no more than two households.

Thank you for doing your part to protect our community!
