The Facilities Long-Range Planning Committee is a group of parents, community members, and Englewood Schools staff members who serve in an advisory capacity to the Board of Education and district administration in planning future facility use.
During the winter and spring, the group met regularly to review the status of Englewood Schools' facilities and to study whether they were meeting the needs of the students and community. After gathering community feedback, touring facilities and hearing from experts, the group made a recommendation to the Board of Education that the four elementary schools and preschool building be completely renovated or rebuilt.
