Important Information for Everyone
The 2015/2016 District Calendar has been updated to reflect a non-student/non-staff day on April 29, 2016, that was approved at the June 9, 2015, Board of Education meeting due to budget cuts.
Please see the updated calendar here.
The opening schedule for the 2015-2016 school year is available on our district website here. Please keep an eye on www.englewoodschools.net For Staff>Opening of School Schedule for additional information or changes to this schedule.
Please read this letter from Dr. Rubin regarding her new role as Superintendent of Englewood Schools.

The Technology Department has analyzed and refined the list of apps that will be deployed on the student and teacher iPads. Using input from teachers, students, and other districts, the list of apps has been revised. The apps are a balance of cost, quality, and function. Please make yourself familiar with them at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wGjWBigsnjeZvWgky6--zFgVFfLdifaPOtBScmBN8sw/edit?usp=sharing. You may not see some of the same apps you used to have; but there is most likely an app that still serves the same purpose. Just ask a member of the Technology Department if you need help locating the right app for the right purpose. Some apps that the district is emphasizing this year are Google apps for productivity, Fast ForWord apps for literacy, Gizmos (www.explorelearning.com) for math and science, BrainPop for all content areas, and Google Classroom as a learning management system. Many of these are premium apps that will require accounts and passwords. Once registration calms down, we will provide you with the information you need for the accounts. We think we have a great list of apps available to students and there is a lot of excitement about what we can accomplish this next year with the iPads!
