Belong and Thrive

Career and Technical Education (CTE)

CTE provides classes that combine academic standards, relevant and rigorous technical career content, and 21st Century learning and skills.  These courses connect secondary education with postsecondary options to prepare learners for college and careers.  Many of these courses are offered for college credit or will allow the student to earn a professional certificate upon the completion of the program.

CTE courses are structured around the Colorado Career Cluster Model grouping careers into six industry sectors:

  • Business, Marketing & Public Administration
  • Agriculture, National Resources & Energy
  • STEM, Arts, Design & Information Technology
  • Skilled Trades & Technical Sciences
  • Health Science, Criminal Justice & Public Safety
  • Hospitality, Human Service & Education

Please see the high school counselor or the Englewood CTE Google site to obtain more detailed information about participating in Career & Technical Education programs.
