We are excited to announce that Callan Clark, Executive Director of Student Services for Englewood Schools, will be awarded with this year's CAER (the Colorado Association for the Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired) Connections Award. Ms. Clark was nominated for this award for her outstanding commitment to the students with visual impairments in Englewood Schools.
The Connections Award recognizes cooperative efforts that cross organizational lines to benefit people with visual disabilities. Nominations for the award are considered by the CAER Board.
The CAER Board recognizes that Callan consistently puts student needs first and is willing to think 'outside the box' to provide services to students with visual impairments. Callan serves as an exemplary model to the community of Special Education Directors for her service and commitment to students with visual impairments.
