Cherrelyn Elementary Achieves Highest State Rating of “Performance”
Cherrelyn Elementary has achieved the highest state rating of “Performance” this year, following two years of strong academic growth on the Colorado Department of Education’s School Performance Framework (SPF).*
Additionally, for the first time in recent years, Englewood Schools has reached the "Accredited" rating via the SPF. The Accredited rating comes as Englewood Schools students have demonstrated strong academic achievement and growth the past two years, according to data from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE).
The state’s performance framework provides a snapshot of a district or school’s level of academic achievement, growth and postsecondary readiness. Cherrelyn Elementary posted strong academic growth and improved its overall SPF score to “Performance”. Additionally, for the first time, Englewood High School’s rating is listed at “Performance,” an increase from an “Improvement” rating in previous years. This brings the total number of Englewood schools with a “Performance” rating to four, including Bishop Elementary and Englewood Leadership Academy.
