Remote Learning Starts April 1

Dear Englewood Schools Families,

Governor Polis announced yesterday that schools will be closed until April 17. Knowing that this announcement was likely to come, the Englewood Schools team has been working tirelessly to figure out the best way to bring instruction and learning to our students remotely.

Creating a plan for remote learning is complex, and we are working diligently to ensure that our plan is accessible, equitable and effective.  Additionally, we have been working to ensure that we have the right resources in place to make it seamless for teachers and students alike. To that end, please fill out this brief questionnaire for parents that will help us prepare to bring remote learning to everyone. Please fill out a separate questionnaire for each child by Wednesday, March 25.

We plan to roll out remote learning officially on Wednesday, April 1 (after what would have been our spring break.) Before that, we will send out detailed information and expectations for students and teachers. In the meantime, we have made a robust library of resources available for families to access here that will help students continue learning at home.

As always, thank you for your continued understanding and patience during this unprecedented time.

Sincerely,

Wendy Rubin, Ed.D.
Superintendent
