Englewood High School and the Englewood School District have a relentless focus on learning!
EHS has been living the Pirate Pride since 1913! Englewood is a comprehensive 4-year high school with several unique and very successful programs. We are proud of our academic distinctions: 35 Boettcher Scholars, eight Daniels Fund Scholars, and six appointments to US military academies in the last 16 years. Englewood offers the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program in grades 9-12 and a full range of college-level academic and elective courses. EHS has a state award winning band, choir, and the Pirateer school newspaper. We offer 22 athletic teams, band, orchestra, choir and keyboarding throughout the school year.
Our brand new facility, completed in December 2014, is designed for safety, learning, and community use. Our campus offers a state-of-the-art Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Lab; high tech Fabrication Lab; Broadcast Studio; and Culinary Arts program. Every Englewood student has access to a district-issued iPad for school and home use, and we believe in integrating digital learning into all of our curricula.
EHS students have access to Cosmetology and Audio Production classes at Colorado’s Finest High School of Choice. Additionally, EHS students have access to numerous Career and Tech Education classes on the Englewood Campus, at Arapahoe Community College, Swedish Medical Center, and with several of our neighboring school districts (Littleton, DCSD, CCSD and Sheridan).
