Englewood Schools

Belong and Thrive

Upgrades and Needs by School

Englewood elementary schools are all 60-68 years old. The plans to rebuild Bishop Elementary, Charles Hay World School, Cherrelyn Elementary, Clayton Elementary and Maddox Early Childhood Educational Center meet the priorities and needs outlined by the community through surveys, town hall meetings, and a group of citizens and staff known as the Facilities Long-Range Planning Committee.

Thanks to Englewood voters, all four elementary schools and one preschool building will be rebuilt beginning in June of 2017. (See the proposed timeline here.)
